terms of service:

by commissioning the artist, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms:general
1. the client is expected to provide reference materials and clear, complete instructions before the commission project begins.
2. the artist reserves the right to refuse commission requests for any reason.
3. the artist reserves the right to post the watermarked final output on any social media platforms. if the client wishes to keep the commissioned work private, an additional fee of 20 usd will be charged.payment
1. prices listed are only starting rates and may vary or increase depending on complexity, requirements, and/or additional requests.
2. commission requests are secured once the client has paid the proposal / invoice sent by the artist.
3. invoices must be paid within 3 days, or the commission request may be cancelled.rush fees
1. rush projects are subject to the artist’s availability and workload. the client should contact the artist beforehand to discuss the feasibility of desired dates.
2. rush fees are at least 30% of the total commission cost.refunds
1. strictly no cancellations / refunds once payment has been made.
2. if the artist cannot complete the commissioned work due to unforeseen circumstances, the client may be eligible for a full refund. however, if the commissioned work is done up to the point where it is usable by the client, only a partial refund will be provided.communication
1. ongoing communication will occur throughout the commission project.
2. the client may request to communicate outside of vgen via platforms such as discord, messenger, or email.
3. the artist will provide work-in-progress updates. however, the client is free to contact the artist at any time for the status of their commission.
4. the artist follows the utc+08:00 time zone, and response time may vary up to 24 hours.revision
1. major revisions are only allowed during the sketch phase.
2. revisions beyond the scope of the initial instructions will cost an additional fee of 5 usd.
3. only minor revisions are allowed after the line art phase.
4. revisions may affect the progress and timeline.deadline & delivery
1. turnaround time is approximately 1 day to 1 month. the artist will inform the client in advance if there are any delays.
2. timeline depends on commission type, complexity, and workload.
3. final deliverables are provided by the artist using the vgen platform or through google drive or email upon the client’s request.
4. the client acknowledges that the commissioned work and deliverables are digital and there are no physical goods to be shipped and/or received.rights and usage
1. commissioned work is for personal use only unless the client has paid the monetized / content use fee and/or commercial merchandising fee.
2. commissioned work may not be used in any way related to nfts, cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence (ai) training or other for-profit platforms.
3. artist rights: the artist retains copyright, ownership, redistribution, and intellectual property rights.
4. client rights: the client receives exclusive, non-transferable usage rights to the commissioned work.
5. the client must not claim the commissioned work as their own and must credit the artist upon display of the commissioned work on their websites, social media profiles, broadcast channels and so on.
6. the client must not edit or significantly modify the commissioned work without prior permission from the artist.
